Cretaceous Carnage

After a rescue mission gone wrong, all your platoon was KIA (killed in action) by the reborn bio-weapons.  The remaining scientist you were tasked with saving was eating by poison spitting B.O.W (bio organic weapon) while hiding in the transport. The transport driver freaked out seeing the rest of the squad being literally torn apart limb from bloody screaming limb, leaving the survivors to fend for themselves but he didn’t make it far as a group of small but bloodthirsty flying B.O.W dragging him kicking and screaming out of the drivers sit and right into the choppers blades. Bastard deserved it.  HQ is refusing to send help until you find the data from the main science building. unfortunately, you can hear something large hauling ass towards you, as the trees snaps from its strength you turn and run faster than you have ever in your life not even wanting to see what this creature is as you know that this creature killed alpha team who were more heavily equipped then your team.   The main base is now in view, but the thing seems dead set on catching you. While you stop to catch your breath the trees behind you fall and the thing comes into view, you lock eyes with it and freeze. Throughout your life of working for Ouroboros, you have seen and done horrible things living by the logic “If a man dedicates his life to good deeds and the welfare of others, he will die unthanked and unremembered. If he exercises his genius bringing misery and death to billions, his name will echo down through the millennia for a hundred lifetimes. Infamy is always more preferable to ignominy.” It seems like this creature also lives but that logic as your body no longer listens to you and starts to snake uncontrollably. This thing’s visage isn’t that horrifying it looks like some of the other creatures found on this hellhole of an island but it’s eyes are what terrify you, gleaming dark and cold like looking into the darkest pit of pure evil. Those horrible eyes gleam with a malicious intelligence, it is taking unholy pleasure from your suffering. This vile creature has been feeding you hope by letting you get away poisoning your mind as you clamber over the dead to try and stay in the light, it wants you to fall into desire but you will not lay down and die. Gaining control of your body you turn and run to the door and forcefully open it just as the thing charges and crashing into the closed door which buckle and bend inwards… it had just tapped you in a maze and destroyed the only entry and exit that you know… let the carnage and suffering begin anew.
